Key Things to Know

Here are the most important things as we begin this transition:

  • Name and logo updates: You’ll start seeing the CVB logo displayed alongside the text: “A Division of Frontwave Credit Union.”
  • Same branches, people, and hours: No changes to your branch location, business hours, or the team you know and trust.
  • Accounts remain active: Use your accounts, debit cards, and online banking as you always have. No action needed.
  • Some fees are changing: Certain fees are being lowered or removed. See the updated fee schedule for details.

Yes. You can continue to withdraw funds and access your account as usual.

  • Business members: Your current debit card and business checks will continue to work.
  • Consumer members: Your current debit card and personal checks will continue to work.

Not right now. Your current routing and account numbers remain valid for ACH transfers, wire transfers, direct deposits, and payroll processing.

If any updates are needed during the system conversion in late 2026, we’ll provide the new information well in advance and walk you through how to make the switch, whether you manage personal transactions or business payroll.

Yes. You’ll continue using your existing online and mobile banking platforms until late 2026. When we move to Frontwave’s digital systems, we’ll provide support every step of the way.

Deposit Insurance & Fee Changes

Yes. Some fees have been updated to align with Frontwave and NCUA standards. These changes are designed to benefit members. See the updated rate and fee schedule.

Loans & Lending

Lending continues without interruption, with the same local support you rely on. Here’s what that looks like for both personal and business needs:

  • Personal loans: You can apply through your CVB branch or your current loan officer.
  • Business loans: You can continue applying through CVB with no changes to the current product offerings. After the transition in late 2026, you’ll have access to Frontwave’s full suite of business lending options, with flexible terms and competitive rates.

No. You’ll continue making payments and managing your loan as you do now. If anything changes during the late 2026 transition, we’ll provide advance notice.

Branch & Service Access

Yes. As of October 1, 2025, Community Valley Bank operates as CVB, a division of Frontwave Credit Union. The Community Valley Bank name is being retired. Once the system conversion is complete in late 2026, you’ll see the Frontwave Credit Union name and branding reflected across all branches, materials, and communications.

The full name change will happen after the system conversion in late 2026. You’ll begin to see the Frontwave name introduced gradually on signage, materials, and digital platforms. You’ll receive notice well in advance of any visible changes.

No. All CVB branches will remain open, and there are no planned changes to hours. We’re committed to maintaining local access and supporting the communities we serve.

Not yet. Until our systems are fully integrated in late 2026, you’ll need to continue visiting your CVB branch for service. Once the conversion is complete, you’ll have access to all Frontwave locations across Southern California.

Yes. You can use any Frontwave-owned ATM without a surcharge. These are located at Frontwave branches and are clearly marked with the Frontwave Credit Union name and logo. This does not apply to CO-OP or other shared network ATMs.

Your Team & Relationships

You’ll continue working with the same local team who’s been here for you. While CVB’s longtime CEO is retiring, your branch staff and banking contacts are still here to support you. This change brings the added strength and resources of Frontwave Credit Union, while keeping the same personal service you’ve come to expect.

Your banker isn’t going anywhere. The same people who’ve supported your goals will continue working with you. They’ll now have access to more tools and support to serve you even better.

We do not anticipate any staffing changes at this time. Our goal is to preserve the relationships and trust you’ve built while expanding what we can offer you.
