Frontwave Sponsors Four Local Military Families through ASYMCA Secret Santa Program

Oceanside, CA — In the spirit of giving, Frontwave Credit Union sponsored four local military families this holiday season through Camp Pendleton’s Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) Secret Santa Program.
Frontwave shopped for and purchased gifts on the families’ wish lists and delivered them to the Camp Pendleton ASYMCA, where they were distributed just before the holidays, ensuring each family member had something special to celebrate the season with.
The Secret Santa program was initiated in 2003 to support Marines, Sailors, and their families who are referred to the ASYMCA as needing extra help during the holiday season. This year, 105 local military families, made up of 466 total individuals, were served through program, supporting the ASYMCA’s larger goal of strengthening military families at Camp Pendleton by providing meaningful programs and service events throughout the year.
“This has been a tough year for so many active duty military families, and our Secret Santa Program brought some much needed relief and joy to so many deserving families. We couldn’t do it without our incredible community partners like Frontwave Credit Union,” said Maxine Langdon, Events and Marketing Manager for the Camp Pendleton ASYMCA.

In addition to the Secret Santa Program, Frontwave Credit Union also sponsors the ASYMCA’s monthly Neighborhood Exchange, which distributes groceries, diapers, financial advice, and more to local military families in need, as well as special events throughout the year.
