Meet Christina Dean, Frontwave Branch Manager

At the heart of Frontwave Credit Union are our dedicated employees, who we call Dream Makers. This month, we get to know Branch Manager Christina Dean, who heads up our Temecula – Winchester branch and has been serving Frontwave Members for 4 years.

Can you tell us a little bit about your professional background and your career here at Frontwave?

I have been in banking since 2009, both domestic and overseas, and have held every position from Teller to Branch Manager. I have been with Frontwave since July of 2018. I came in as a USR II at San Marcos, transferred to Rancho Del Oro, then got promoted to Supervisor at Pacific Plaza, and am now Branch Manager at Temecula - Winchester.

What do you think makes you successful in your current role as Branch Manager?

I believe in having open communication within my branch, trying new things and failing at them and then trying again, and pushing ourselves enough to be uncomfortable but not break.

What’s your philosophy when it comes to working with Members?

To treat them as if they are a good friend or relative. Many members are uncomfortable or lack knowledge when it comes to their finances, and it’s our responsibility to not only educate but help steer them in the right direction.

What do you think makes your branch unique?

Our branch is different because of our Members. Temecula has a booming housing market with several new developments being built; we are seeing an increase in young families coming in to establish accounts and our USRs take the time to get to know them and their goals.

In your opinion, what sets Frontwave apart from other financial institutions?

Our culture. Everything we do is really for the benefit of the Member.

If you find yourself in Temecula, swing by 40325 Winchester Road to say hello to Christina and her crew and find out how they can help make your financial dreams come true!
